Dean R. O'Neill Research Fellow named for 2010-12

The Dean R. O'Neill Renal Cell Cancer Research Fund, in conjunction with the National Institutes of Health, have awarded the latest Dean R. O'Neill Research Fellowship to Dr. Mattias Carlsten. Dr. Carlsten will work in the laboratory of Dr. Richard Childs for two years, focusing on various immunotherapy and other treatments for kidney cancer. Since 2003, the Fund has sponsored a dedicated research program at NIH to explore new and existing treatments, such as allogeneic stem cell transplantation, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, immunotherapy, vaccine therapy, and drug treatments.




The Dean R. O'Neill Renal Cell Cancer Research Fund is a donor-advised program under the Foundation for the National Institutes of Health (FNIH), which is an established 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization.
