The Dean R. O'Neill Renal Cell Cancer Research Fund works in partnership with the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to search for a cure for Renal Cell Carcinoma. Commonly referred to as Kidney Cancer, Renal Cell Carcinoma is an under-researched and growing disease, with over 30,000 cases diagnosed each year.

The fund sponsors a dedicated research program at NIH to explore new and existing treatments, such as allogeneic stem cell transplantation, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, immunotherapy, vaccine therapy, and drug treatments. The program supports the Dean R. O'Neill post-doctoral fellow, who works in conjunction with the laboratory of Dr. Richard Childs and the NHLBI.

Please visit the links to the left to learn more about the break-through discoveries in the Lab, current clinical trials, and more.

The Dean R. O'Neill Renal Cell Cancer Research Fund is a donor-advised program under the Foundation for the National Institutes of Health (FNIH), which is an established 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization.
